Strategy, user experience, and design for this 170 year-old publication’s website. The project elevates the brand’s mission for promoting how science cultivates deep insights that underpin solutions to key global challenges.
Goals for the redesign were to sustain a loyal following and attract an emerging audience by implementing a platform for continuous engagement — blending topical editorial browsing with consolidated paid product. The experience promotes curiosity by orienting the design around user needs rather than institutional conventions, with clear entry points for both content engagement and paths to conversion.
